The FN SCAR is a modular automatic rifle from the Belgian arms manufacturer FN that was specially developed for the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
Everyone knows this model from several games, both under the names scar-L and scar-H, but they are also known as the MK 16 mod 0 (5.56 variant) and the MK 17 mod 0 (7.62 variant).
